We spent the day in our hotel room watching movies. We were somber, wondering if we would ever hear from Thouc today. The day was long and boring. By 3PM we knew that nothing was going to happen today. Another day and no progress. Thouc finally came by the room at 5:00 and dropped off the boys saying he would be back at about 6:00. He said the Justices had been in meetings all day which did nothing to lift our spirits. Thouc had only been gone from our room ten minutes when he returned and said "I just talked to the Justice, we have a meeting at 7:00AM tomorrow."
G&R FINALLY!!! We had resigned to maybe not even having a G&R tomorrow and suddenly good news. We are excited but too tired at this point to be too elated. Sitting around day after day in a foreign country where almost no one speaks your language gets tiring. We had another decent lunch. I ordered a sandwich and they brought us a loaf of bread. I am not kidding. The bread is very good though. It was warm and I wonder if they did not just bake it.
Well tonight we will sleep well knowing that tomorrow Jayden will officially be ours. We will head for HCMC shortly after G&R and by the end of the week we should know our return time.
Stay with us. I am sure we still have some adventures to survive. And continue to pray for Angie's foot. She still can not do anything. The airport will be interesting with her foot the way it is. I'm sure we can get her a wheelchair if needed.
Angie will be downloading a few more pictures of Jayden and Dat. They love to play and are going to miss each other so much.
