Where is the Pepto Bismol??????

Just kidding......Tonight we were picked up at 7pm sharp and were taken to a very nice and popular restaurant in down town HCMC.......If I thought the daytime in HCMC was something......the night is even more exciting. Everyone is out and scurrying everywhere. Some sitting on little chairs around little tables......I mean little. Like child size tables and chairs having dinner and coffee....To sit in these chairs would be a challedge. LOL.....scooters everywhere! Lights add a festive mood to the whole feeling of the night. There are 9 million people living in HCMC and 4 million have scooters.......The gas stations are a crazy sight......we know nothing of gas lines in USA. I am told they pay $1.00/liter....With all of the craziness with the scooters, there seems to be a quiet respectfulness for one another....I see no one getting mad or displaying fits of road rage.....

I am also amazed at the electrical lines......I have never seen anything like the tangled mess they appear to be in. Some so close to balconies that you would think someone would get electrocuted. But then again, all the signs and lights work so who cares what I think. huh?

The dining was an experience of many different samplings of vietnamese dishes. The vietnamese food in America is not like what we ate tonight.......Oh my, was this wonderful...We ate til I thought I would pop. We were still full from the lunch today....We were going to walk to the famous open-air market downtown but decided to come back to the Hotel to pack......We will see the market when we come back from the province.


Tomorrow, Thuoc is suppose to pick us up at 8am.....We travel to Can Tho and stay one night. We are excited to be getting closer to our Boy, Jayden
